The
characterization as revealed for the conversation. There are two speakers (Parker
and Marry Anne), from the conversation can be inferred that:

Parker is a type of loyalty, because he
takes the stranger puppy from station. He is also sociable because he always
greeting all people that he meet.

Marry Anne is a type of active person,
because she is always talk too much and to Parker, so it can be inferred that
she is cheery woman.

In
the beginning of Parker showing non-verbal action (bell voice)) and ((close
door voice)) (utterance 1) when he came in the Marry’s store.
Marry gives statement to Parker in the middle
of her statement. There is a pause in ten seconds (utterance 4). There is also
a lengthening. (utterance 5). In the same part also showing stress tone when
she say LOOK at this. (utterance 5) and short hesitation when she say
“hello..hello..” (utterance 5).
The
overlap occurs when Parker say “… wandering around the station last night”, at
the same time Marry say “Hi, sweetheart”. (utterance 6 and 7). Stress tone also
showing when Marry asking confirmation about the puppy (utterance 9), when
Marry say “PARKER, this DOG is just fabulous” (utterance 14) and in the last
utterance when Marry say “Oh NO, Anthonio!” to warning Marry’s cat. Short
hesitation appears again in Marry’s utterance (utterance 18).
